Updated: Jul 3, 2019

Myrtle Beach is a coastal city in Horry County, South Carolina. It is in the center of a large and continuous 60-mile stretch of beach known as "The Grand Strand". It is an area full of fun attractions, access to an amazing beach, and warmer climates all year round.

Myrtle Beach Was ranked as the second fastest-growing metropolitan area in the country (per 2018 census estimates). Due to the city's warm subtropical climate and extensive beaches, it is also one of the major centers of tourism in both South Carolina and the United States.

Besides the beach, there is plenty to do in the area. For instance, did you know that Myrtle Beach has been referred to as "The Golf Capital of the World" and has roughly 100 golf courses in the area? There is also the huge attraction for motorcycle lovers with two week-long bike rallies that go through the town each summer. It is also home to the yearly Carolina Country Music fest which is hosted for 4 days featuring over 30 of the countries most exciting artists.

While looking for family friendly activities, there are plenty to be found. Besides being one of the best shopping destinations in the southern United States, Myrtle beach also has an extensive amount of family and kid friendly attractions such as mini golf courses, the "Legends in Concert" theaters, the Hollywood Wax Museum, Ripley's Aquarium, Broadway at the Beach, the Sky Wheel (which is the second biggest ferris wheel in the US), and much more.

Whether you are looking for a place to call home near the water, a second home for vacationing with friends and family, or a beach front condo for small trips and investment profit, Myrtle Beach just may be the perfect area for you.
